HD Ferries has been set-up as a new ferry fast ferry operation to meet the
growing demand for a regular and reliable transport service for cars, freight and passengers
between Jersey, Guernsey and France.
HD Ferries use the innovative and well established WebRes reservation system to
deliver value for money travel based on demand driven pricing. The service
and pricing has been designed to provide a high speed, no frills, value for money service
for both passenger and freight traffic.
HD Ferries brings affordable ferry travel to residents and visitors of the Channel Islands
from France. With six crossings per day, travellers now have a wide range of additional
options to complement the existing ferry operator services.
What facilities are there at the Ferry Terminal in Guernsey? | | The terminal is open the entire time that HD1 is in port. HD Ferries operates from the New Jetty car ferry port in St Peter Port. The approaches are well sign-posted on the roads leading into St Peter Port. Passengers traveling with cars should follow the signs to the vehicle check-in and take the right hand lane. Car passengers must arrive at the port at least one hour before sailing time. HD Ferries will not be held responsible for any late reporting passengers.
Foot passengers should continue to the Harbour Terminal where the HD Ferries baggage check-in is situated. Your heavy luggage will be taken from you, labelled, and transported onto the ship for you. This will also be brought off the ship for you at your destination port and be available for collection in the arrivals area. Foot passengers must check-in at least 45 minutes before sailing time. | On arrival at the Ferry Terminal how can I get to St Peter Port? | | St Peter Port is a five-minute walk from the terminal and taxis offering island-wide coverage are normally available at the vessel's arrival.
| Can I park my car at the Guernsey port? | | Yes, there is public parking on the North Beach to the North of the terminal, which is free. Maximum stay is between three and ten hours. |
