What facilities are there in the Elizabeth Terminal in Jersey?

The terminal is open from 0600 until 2230 every day that HD Ferries is operating. There is a cafeteria, bar, gift shop, disabled toilet and baby-changing facilities.

Where do I go to catch the ferry in Jersey?

HD Ferries operates from the Elizabeth Harbour car ferry port in St. Helier. The approaches are well sign-posted on the roads leading into St. Helier. Passengers travelling with cars should follow the signs to the vehicle check-in and take Lane A. Passengers must arrive at the port at least one hour before sailing time. HD Ferries will not be held responsible for any late reporting passengers.

Foot passengers should continue to the Elizabeth Terminal where the HD Ferries baggage check-in is situated. Your heavy luggage will be taken from you, labelled, and transported onto the ship for you. This will be also be brought off the ship for you at your destination port and be available for collection in the arrivals area. Foot passengers must check-in no later than 30 minutes before sailing time.

On arrival at the Elizabeth Harbour how can I get to St. Helier?

St. Helier is a ten-minute walk from the terminal and taxis offering island-wide coverage are normally available at the vessel's arrival. The Jerseybus service number 19 also makes frequent calls on its circular service round St. Helier and the timetable is posted up outside the terminal or at www.thisisjersey.com.

Can I park my car at the Jersey port?

Yes, there is public parking on the Elizabeth Harbour in front of the terminal, which is charged at 50p an hour. Maximum stay is 5 days and charges apply seven days a week, including Bank Holidays.
