IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: Normally the car rental companies in Jersey and Guernsey
DO NOT permit vehicles to leave the island they were rented in for
various contractual reasons. Therefore please be sure to check this information
with Europcar before booking. Rental cars will be refused to board from Jersey or
Guernsey unless written proof of specific permission from Europcar is shown at check-in.
Therefore HD Ferries recommends customers wishing to hire a car should book as a foot
passenger, then prebook the hire car to start at their destination port
(Jersey/Guernsey/St Malo/Cherbourg).
